Amsterdam
Photographer Graham Jennings says:
This series offers a "snapshot" view of Amsterdam taken over an 18 month period when I lived in the Netherlands. The images show people and scenes I "stumbled upon" on normal days walking round with a camera and on Festival days like Queens day (the Queens Birthday in Holland) where I deliberately went out to find certain types of people.
I was interested in showing how people celebrated Queens day and the diversity of people wearing costumes and outfits in this enormous "fancy dress", alcohol fueled party on the streets of the city.I attended many festivals including "Robodock" at the ADM Squat near Sloterdijk. This festival has grown in size over the past few years mainly by word of mouth as the squatters who organise it, have frequently faced threats of eviction including the previous owner attacking the building with a bulldozer early one morning while people where sleeping. I tried to capture this feeling of defiance with people determined to have fun and the anarchic elements which still exist in the city.

Old Delhi
Photographer Justin Hession says:
In 2001 I spent 6 months teaching photography at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Techniology) in Delhi, India. These are some of the images from early morning trips into Old Delhi.
I often hear people say that taking good pictures in India is just a matter of pointing the camera anywhere and snapping.
Yes, sure India is a very photogenic place but getting good images requires bags full of patience, loads of effort and a good many clean shirts. The heat in Delhi's summer (May/June/July) tops 40 degrees celcius every day. That's almost 100 days of 40+ oppressive heat. It wears you down and cuts your patience level into small little slices. Shooting seemed only possible between 5am and 8am and even then the temperature would be 35-40 degrees.
This collection of photographs represents my efforts but it doesn't show the struggle and the many journeys back on the local bus without taking a photo because my mood was clashing with the 20 r so spectators following my every move.
The photos also, if nothing else, serve as my memory of India and the wonderful time I had roaming the alleyways of Old Delhi and touching on these peoples lives, if only for 1/125 of a second.
If you're planning a trip to shoot India, do it in winter, shoot Provia 400F and take plenty of clean shirts.
For a great insight into Delhi have a read of 'City of Djinns' by William Dalrymple.

Padlocked
In my corner of the world the padlock is almost extinct as a general entry-prevention tool. In other parts of the world the padlock is still _the_ way to lock something (or someone) up. As you will see from this exhibition no two padlocked places are alike. Want to show what's padlocked in your world? Check out the submission guidelines!

Rome
This exhibition contains 44 photos taking in Rome, Italy during May 2006. You will see lots of old buildings - some of them are famous tourist attractions. But I have also tried to turn the camera away from the attractions to look at the quite courtyards, the peeling paint, the beautiful street signs and whatever else caught my eye. I hope you enjoy the photos all of which were taken during the month of May 2006.

School Daze
The school I went to as a kid has been shut down and is about to be demolished. A fine day not too long ago I went back to the school for the first time in (counting on fingers) 13 years.
I took a stroll on the school grounds and in parts of what used to be my home town. Although the abandoned school and the town had obviously changed it still made me remember a lot of things about my school days and about growing up.
I brought back some photos for my digital shoebox. These photos tell a story of my school daze.
