Ubyezhishye by Christopher Lakoduk

The writing on the wall with the arrow pointing basically says, " This way to the bomb shelter." St. Petersburg was heavily bombarded in WWII, where over 1,000,000 people were killed. Today, you can still see such things as bullet holes remaining in the sides of buildings. At the core of the beautiful city is a grim reminder of death once had.
