One of the great things about school was the long summer holidays. Seven weeks of freedom. We could do whatever we liked. I would sleep until 10am. After breakfast I'd call up my friends and we would agree to meet in the schoolyard for basketball. We would play until it was time to go home for dinner. Some evenings we'd meet again after dinner and play until it was too dark to see the basket. Then we'd go home to someone who had sattelite tv and watch NBA playoffs until 4 am. The next day we'd do it all over again.
The building in the back housed the school library on the left and the physics lab on the right.
