This week is the Aarhus Festuge and there is a lot of stuff going on here. Photography-related stuff that I hope to see is Língua Franca, Anacronia by André Cepeda, the amateur photographers' exhibition, and Photos from the Favela by Brazilian photographers Pedro Lobo and Severino Silva. All of this is free or very cheap exhibitions. Go check them out if you are in Aarhus this week.

Sunday 25 August 2002 Angela Hechtfisch is a German photographer with a great sense of humor. I found the "sequence" exhibition immensly funny. It tries to answer a question that I guess many a woman has asked herself: "Was hat sie bloss, was ich nicht habe?" - roughly translated: "what does she have, that I don't ".
Excellent! I only wish the text would be in English. Oh... and the navigation scheme on the site needs some work aswell.

Life in Frames is the photographic portfolio of Polish photographer Tomasz Jankowski. There is some great photography there and the site (done in flash) looks quite nice. Only one thing though: The constant flickering of the photos every time you choose a new one is really REALLY annoying! [thanks to Christoffer for the link]

Interesting project. Urban Ride is about taking photos at train platforms in one country and put them up at stations in another. The photo collection will be exchanged and circulated between participating cities. Photos are on display at Nørreport station in Copenhagen until August 23rd. [via fodosnak]
